Shipping & Delivery

Current commercial aviation laws do not allow any product which includes a Lithium-Ion battery of over 100 watts to be shipped by air. All shipments of the electric version of the VeloMini will have to be shipped by ground of sea. This law also restricts carrying on or checking in check bag luggage any product with a battery of 100 watts or more (which included the VeloMini) on any commercial airlines. Large fines may be imposed if this law is ignored. VeloMini is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper air shipping practice.

VeloMini standard shipping fees apply to merchandise shipped to locations within the Continental United States. Shipment to U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands as well as international locations are charged at a different rate. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Web site pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.

Warranties

With normal care and recommended maintenance, this electric bicycle is warranted to the original purchaser to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the following period of time: 1 year – frame and electronic controller. Since we cannot control the use and battery maintenance, the hub motor, battery charger, and throttle have a 6 month warranty. We will replace, at our option, any product or part that is defective in material or workmanship without charge. Shipping charges are not covered under this warranty. This limited warranty does not cover the normal wear of items such as tires, brakes, chains, and other items. All implied warranties are limited to the stated time period.

This warranty applies to normal consumer use of the product. Inappropriate use such as trick riding, abusive riding, off-road riding, riding through water, riders heavier than 210 lbs, riding steep hills without pedal assist, storing the battery dead, etc will shorten the life of the VeloMini and will void the warranty. Use in a rental fleet, commercial setting, or government fleet require a separate warranty agreement.
